‘Fairytale Lullaby’ is a seriously strong debut from Blossom Caldarone. Despite the fact that she’s only 18, Caldarone is no stranger to writing and performing – she’s been playing instruments from the age of 5 and writing her own tunes in her native South London since she was 12. Perhaps it’s this which gives her debut offering ‘Fairytale Lullably’ a confidence way beyond her years, with her direct storytelling style and lilting vocals drawing well-earned comparisons to Lily Allen. The track is accompanied by a seriously stylish video which was shot by Leonn Ward, famed for his work with Vogue, i-D and Stella McCartney, and sees Caldarone sauntering across a deserted sports hall.
